    Randy... Can't hurt to follow up. Tell them you got a job and were busy learning the ropes and weren't following up on other opportunities. The worst thing they can tell you is that the position was already filled. But he says "this, or other opportunities" so who knows, maybe there is still something available. The unemployment rate is very low right now and employers are having a hard time finding good people so maybe you'll get lucky. Go for it! :boink:

    There is some truth in this...I just applied to a job for Northrop Grumman before it closed out. There is nothing saying that the position wouldn't get filled, but it might be currently closed to accept new applicants. If that is indeed the case, then he might have to wait until it reopens which very well could have reopened. Best thing to do is just search their site for openings and see if that one is back on it.

    Many of my friends coming out of college would go to NG cause it was the big shipyard company at the time in Virginia Beach before they sold off to Huntington Ingalls. Either way, I bet they got something available as NG seems to hire ALOT of positions when they need folks instead of just a couple unless its some small outfit location.
