Cheek is doing a lager day. I want to go but prolly won’t make it.
Maybe early next week. I got my friend over till Sunday and don’t know our plans.

Random Question for all my pet parents: Do any of you have pet insurance? If so, what kind? I've heard nationwide's is the worst so to avoid that at all costs.

 

I have Embrace Pet Insurance. Get your pet examined by vet, vet signs papers that you send to Embrace, you choose coverage. Any treated illnesses, keep receipt and you get reimbursed.

My dog has diabetes. Insulin and syringes, and diet food are covered. I can get more detailed info if you need it..

 

Two kinds of insurance. One covers normal visits, checkups, etc. The other is for unforeseen costs. We use Healthy Paws. We are to the point now with 4 dogs where we have a small slush fund set aside we pay into. Our oldest broke her molar, slab fracture. 4300 something later for a titanium crown, insurance picked up their end no questions, no hassles so it paid dividends on hers alone.

 

Oh wow, I was looking at Embrace as well as the ASPCA one and they seem fairly similar.. I'll look more into it. Thank you!

I also have Healthy Paws, anytime I've put in a claim it's been handled quickly and without complaint. They send back an itemized list of what was and wasn't covered.
