    For something that is a hardshell, only weighs 80 lbs and closes under 6" and shipped at $1700 I figured it was a decent deal compare to the other hardshell RTTs at $3000+ Also easy to remove by myself not that the 4Runner is a daily to begin with. Just gotta wait til spring to get it :rofl::bananadead:

    What's a good way to know if my lower control arm bushings are shot? I'm trying to get my truck ready for some adventure trips and I'm slowly checking off all the shit I have to do.

    edit: Also the fox shocks I was going to get are a no go which is a bummer. I’m deciding if I just want to get some OME nitros again so I have OME all the way around or get something else.

    It would squeak a lot when the lca bushings are shot due to metal to metal contact.

    As someone who had Fox i wasn't impressed. King is the way to go which i have on the 4Runner and Tacoma. However OME is legit especially the BP-51 versions. Also check Dobinsons I would look at their stuff, also another Aussie brand. I have Dobinsons rear springs in the 4Runner and UCAs on the Tacoma both products have been flawless :thumbsups:

    good to know. I debate spending the cash for a more “midtravel” set up but I’m not sure it’s worth it. My truck is 2wd so I’m thinking more of the desert route rather than the crawling route. And camping of course.

    right now my lowers aren’t squeaky my alignment might be off. At certain speeds when I brake I get some solid wheel shake.
