They actually are. "Slow traffic use turn outs" "Slow traffic keep right" They even have signs conveniently placed to tell you where those turn outs are. Its almost like they want you to use them

It was a good event. They shut down Lampson and had a little track set up for the Monster race cars to hit some jumps and smoke the tires. They also had the guys on their widdle Hardley Sportsters doing donuts & stoppies. And I think they also had a BMX crew in there at some point.

I work on the 5vz a lot, have replaced many of them. 2 weeks ago just replaced one at work for a customer. They went the JDM import route. Omg this motor is cherry and runs amazing. Getting a jdm low mileage one is going to be the most cost effective way. Lots of parts to swap over though. Basically have to swap everything from your engine including oil pan/pickup, pulleys, intake, exhaust.

Took me 3 hours to yank the motor. Took me 2 full days to swap all the parts and do things like new valve cover gaskets.

If you really want to send the head out, I can get the info for our machine shop for you. They do great work. Our shop is located in Huntington and they come pick up the heads we send out.

where do you pick up that JDM 5VZ – FE?

 

Not sure, customer ordered it themselves. There are a couple jdm importers located in Wilmington. I have purchased a couple jdm Honda motors from that area.

Check out car-part.com. They list a bunch of JDM and usdm used motors. Looks like they range from $1500-$2500.
