Just wanted to clear up the cost and the words being used. Powder coating does not make the spindles stronger, that's silly what she meant was the powder coating helps protect it from rust you can defiantly spray paint them. We have done that for people before too but it doesn't seal as good. There is no perfect solution to keeping them from rusting other than maintenance and cleaning.

The $550.00 cost is not just to weld them, the cost for welding them and having them powder coated is $350.00 including the powder coating and the parts. I believe the gussets are $89.00 plus $50.00 for powder coating leaving about $215.00 for the labor of sanding them and welding them. The $550.00 price tag includes removing them from the vehicle sanding them, welding them, powder coating them and re-installing them. Sorry if there was miscommunication. And no she doesn't drive a prius, it's a kia :)

If I'm not mistaken, you can just jam those pieces back inside, and it should run smoothly.

No when we got back to camp on saturday those hippie were rock climbing a big rock face, and we were watching them. John would either yell jump or how good the looked in their short shorts, or tight red pants. Then he would proceed to say how funny it would be if the fell and died. He would describe it very vividly... I will admit it was funny

    Oh my gosh!
Madison, you didn't tell me John was out there trying to convince hippies to commit suicide! Hahah.

Not sure how funny it would be to see that, but I could imagine the way he was describing it.
John has already proven that he's got linguistic gymnastics on his side.
That post last night was bananas!

Yea those guys were over there but there was also a group actually harnessed up and shit. We actually came to the conclusion though that the y guy wasn't rock climbing he was "rock floating" cause most the time he was hanging next to the rock while the guy on the ground pulled him up... we believe
