Orange County CAF's: up to no good

Did you go to Modjeska peak? We saw a blue/white light at the peak and were wondering who that was. We headed up around 11:00 and headed down around 12:30.

 

Yeah, that was me. I figured you prolly saw that. That was my camper shell interior lights. They're part of my communications array to let your incoming galactic overlords know that everything is in pla..............nevermind. I've said too much.

 

Well WTF were you doing up there at that time?!?

I mean besides sending transmissions of our day to day human life back to the mother ship...

I think that the combination of the super lube and the ceramic lube worked actually!!!! I dont remember hearing the front suspension this morning on the way to work!!!!!

Let's do a trail run soon, yeah guys? Been a while since we did a big one up into the Santa Anas...I think the last one was in October.

Next Saturday is the Long Beach Buffalo Wild Wings meet, so we could do either that Sunday or the weekend after that, if weather permits.

Ideas?

 

But the closer you have it to la county the more ppl you are going to get.

Brea is still in OC!!!!

I just can't think of too many trails that are prerunner friendly up there. Cleghorn is pretty much out of the picture, and Lytle Creek was tough for a prerunner in snow. If it's melted, we could do Lytle Creek.

But I do wanna do some snowfroading before it's all gone.

 

what trail are you thinking?

 

Silverado to the peak of Saddleback would be fun. Or Lytle Creek area has some cool trails.

 

I was going to suggest Baldy Mesa, and then realized that's right by Lytle Creek.
If you haven't done BM before, it's plenty of fun, and open to dirt bikes (*especially* dirt bikes).
Baldy Mesa has some killer views overlooking the San Andreas where the I-15 crosses over. Do Lytle Creek and BM together for a fun day.
Not so sure it's Prerunner friendly......

I found a new place this weekend to go trailen! I want to share my find! Its about 35 to 40 min from cosya mesa depending in how u drive. Lets come up with a date and take up there whoever winds up going!! Lots of different trails, hillclimbs and straights for those that like to go fast.

 

I wish I could go! I have an interview with Facebook this weekend. Hoping I get to meet up with everyone one last time if I get the job.

Baldy Mesa is prerunner friendly, I pretty much covered the whole place in my truck. But I also take my prerunner where 4wd's wont go . Its a very boring place for riding, too small and not much fun riding on fire roads. But in a truck its fun.
