All I could honestly think about was the money that some people spent for tickets and what not when I was watching the news and they were talking to reporters!!! I was like HOLY SHI-!!! ALL that green cabbage could be going towards my truck ... just too bad it wasn't my cabbage!!!

 

Very well said Mr.Noble!I've been a Lakers Fan since i moved to CA.in 1980 but never a Kobe fan for the majority of his 20yr career!A legend no doubt as a basketball player but didn't care for his persona!

A friend of mine worked on his house when it was being built in Newport Coast primarily doing all of the concrete work.He used to tell us all as friends on occasion how disrespectful and arrogant Kobe was during the process of the house being built!He even mentioned to us at one point how himself and other contractors who were working on the house overheard Kobe tell someone how lucky these workers were to be working on his house with somewords in regards to the laborer's and if things weren't completed right and on a timely fashion that he(Kobe)had all the power in the world to make there lives miserable!Pretty pathetic for a basketball player professional or not!

All i'm going to say about the topic of Kobe!I'm out!

He was a 17 year old kid who never advanced past that as the world immediately bowed to him. What does anyone expect? He doesn't have to be graceful, gracious, or respectful. Not to say he's any different, fame turns these people into worthless fuck faces.

However, in doses. I have a sports room in my house but I do care about community as well. I volunteered for a few years at the local VA hospital, I try to buy local as much as possible, and when I do have to call a contractor or handy man over to help me repair something I always offer water, beer, and sometimes lunch if the project is a full day's worth of labor. Heck, we even give our mail lady an annual bonus like the good ole days. I'm not trying to pat myself on the back (of course I am, I'm American aren't I?), but we certainly all have our vices, yes? From grilling meat in tube form and being glutinous on NFL sundays to shouting at the TV when Kobe isn't passing the ball, to poppin' champagne and spilling it around town when the Dodgers win the world series in 2016. It's all good in moderation my brothers and sisters.

*I think I'll grill up some brats on the trail this afteroon. And beers. Yes. Beers.

I remember when things got hot between west coast and east coast rappers and Kobe shaved his fro because he looked too much like Tupac and didn't want a hit put on him. And then he changed his number from 8 to 24 after the Colorado rape allegations. What a character he is.

LMAO!A friend of mine in Arizona told me a story about a friend of his that did contract work on a house in New York that Kanye West was having built!His friend did a lot of the installation in the house and was a drywall installer.
His friend didn't care for Kanye although he had never met him or crossed paths during the house being built.He just didn't care for his music and how Kanye thinks he's god!

On a late evening Kanye's representative contacted the contractors and demanded them to report to the house to finish up the drywall in a few of the rooms.

My friends friend had been out drinking that evening but reported to the house to do his job and work as requested!During the process he decided to poop in a plastic bag and stuff it in between the walls with some empty beer bottles!Really immature of him to do that but he left his permanent mark internally in Kanye's house walls cause he couldn't stand him!

 

So,so!We've both been busy in are separate ways so are communication has been somewhat of a breakdown but other than that all is good i think!We'll be leaving for Arizona at the end of the month so we'll be able to catch up on our road trip!
