a few goodies here and there!
    Hi everyone!

I used to frequent this forum a bit until I moved to the middle of nowhere on the East Coast. My wife and I moved back to OC a few months ago.

We had our vehicles shipped back after our work assignment was complete. A while after my truck arrived I noticed the bed was crooked. I finally got around to taking it to a body shop and they told me the frame was bent. Told them how I shipped it and we came to the conclusion that the shipping company cranked down too hard and bent the frame.

At this time I am going through my insurance. The insurance company towed the truck to a shop that was in their recommended places. The shop is now denying to fix it because of all the aftermarket parts on it since they "cannot guarantee 100%" the re-assembly.

I am trying to see if any of you have a body shop you could recommend that would take on this work? I was told I need to find my own shop now since the insurance company's shop denied the work.

Thank you everyone very much. Hope you're having a great day!

I have had good experiences with fix auto in Anaheim (off of auto center drive) for my past vehicles that were lightly modified. They definitely were not the cheapest but everytime I have been there they did a great job, were fast, and was covered by my insurance... I think it would be worth giving them a call at least...

    Good luck man!

I work for a transport company, we used to use chains to tie down cars from the frame., we recently switch over to over the tire straps only.

Well I guess that’s irrelevant, did you file a claim with the transport company or broker?
