    Kinda feel like I put up a date for the Community Service Trail Run and then disappeared. Life got busy (<4 hours of sleep this whole weekend, and I gotta work at 05:00).

    So I guess Sunday the 6th is on! That's this Sunday, for those too lazy to check the calendar. Bring gloves and a trash bag and/or a box. I'll bring a can of lacquer thinner in case we come across graffiti.

    Meet at John's Place at 09:00? Or something else?

    Does anyone know if the Skyline gate is now locked? If so, I guess we'll head out Ortega. Anyone interested in checking out the Santa Rosa Plateau?

    Getting mixed messages online, and the phone number just ringing forever, I took a drive out to the Silverado fire station to see what the sign said.

    THE GATE IS CLOSED, according to the Silverado Canyon fire station (did not drive to the physical gate to confirm).
    I suspect the reasoning is the increased fire danger due to the Santa Ana winds.

    We will have to POSTPONE this Community Service Trail Run to a later date. (Anyone with date preferences? What works/doesn't work? Probably be another Sunday.)
