It's progress. Haven't had time to work on it since the weekend. Trying to get the dash back in and fab up the engine tie in section.

^ Exactly that. 2-2.5" typically doesn't require an aftermarket UCA. Bilstein 5100s are a great way to get a better ride and some height for ground clearance and larger tires. If you want to go for 3" you're looking at a set of 2.5" coilovers and UCAs which will give you the best offroad handling and a little extra travel.

@Kens04Taco is looking at buying Fox 2.0, similar to the bilsteins but more well valved, could always wait for his review and go from there.

Hope I can make it. Still working my butt off on it. It's a good chunk of work for a guy that already works full time.

That's my plan then. Probably get some new wheels and some less aggressive AT tires in the future too. I'm not rushing that as the wheels and tires I have now only have 1.5k on them.

Thanks for the info. Good to know. I've been looking at the Fox 2.0's they're more expensive but not terrible around $900 after tax. I'll wait to see how he likes them while I save up.

Hey just thought I'd throw this out there. If anyone is looking for side work I do general mechanic work on the side and would like an extra set of hands some times. Most of it is really easy. Lemme know

Anyone been out to Visalia in here? I'm headed there this weekend for a wedding and my wife says its total cow town and super boring. Wonder if there's anywhere to take my truck while she's getting ready.

New tires are looking fresh this morning. However I noticed this morning when double checking the air pressure, those fuckers at American tire Depot didn't put back on my passenger side front wheel cap!!! And they left off 2 air caps. I'll be calling them up as soon as they're open this morning, and they sure as hell better find and have that wheel cap!
