That's why LEO are moving to Springfield XD and Smith and Wesson M&P in droves. The glawks hay-day is over. People found a good pistol finally. There's also negligible "extra powa" in a .40 ANY pistol round has a confirmed 2+ shots to stop a target it's only when you talk rifle rounds that you can see an average confirmed 1~1.5 rounds to stop a target.

Gen 4 is not Cali legal. Gen 3 is Cali legal. You can dream but your not going to get one if your not LEO. Stupid idiots up there in ball Sacramento.

There are also some companies out there making pistol caliber AR's that take the glock mags. That means one type of mag to carry and will shoot the same ammo.

There's one made by TNWfirearms. It's called the AERO SURVIVAL RIFLE. You can get it in any pistol caliber. It is available in .45 ACP, 9mm, .40S&W, 10MM and .357SIG. It has a quick change barrel to change calibers(must buy other caliber barrels). Or they have a 3 barrel combo kit of your choice of calibers.

There's also quarter circle 10 that makes an AR lower that uses the glock mags also if you want the more conventional looking AR platform.

Glocks aren't. The M&P is worlds over far more ergonomic and uses the same bullshit striker-fire noise Glocks use. If you've never shot it and you're saying Glock is better you're literally fan boying right now.

I dunno.... FBI just signed a huge contract with Glock. They had certain requirements to be met and glock met those requirements and got the contract.
I agree that it is a shity looking handgun but it's something I can trust no matter what. I hated it for years. I was set on the XD but the more I compared my friends XD to the Glock, I just couldn't buy the XD. Take down is way simpler with the glock vs xd. Plus the glocks were on sale at turners at the time.

Trigger on the XD is by far wayyy better then the glock.

My next with be a .22 conversion to get my wife shooting more without breaking the bank on ammo.

You've never taken a Glock apart?

I'll give you a hint: just about every semiautomatic looks the same under the skin. Look up Glock KB. When they go. It's real ugly.

"Remember your weapon is made by the lowest bidder." - excerpted from the infantry rulee "hand book" these are the same people who didn't arrest Shrillary. They are making decisions on dollars, cents, and idiocy. By your logic the Glock isn't the standard issue side arm to the US military, so should you not buy it?

A few anecdotal posts. My posts have as much credibility as these.
    Point taken.

There's 2 days out of the week I dislike my swing shift. The day that ends in South Park and the day that end in The Walking Dead. I feel so left out. Haha. Respek!
