Easy peesy. Gonna install one tomorrow at camp on a 3rd gen. @socalktk , you have a parts list?

Edit: Kalvin is going with the ARB breather kit though. the thing is sick. Especially if you plan in running lockers in the future. A real clean setup. @Willbeck has it.

I saw the ARB kit, looks nice, didn't get a price check on it though, so might go that way if it's cheap-ish. I've already got the rear locker, maybe one day way down the line I'll get a front locker too

Should work for 2nd and 3rd gen. The ARB breather. kit was a bit costly, I think about $70-ish, but I like how it looks and the many different options

If you don't foresee using the options then go the more common route. Did mine for 15 bucks. 10 of it went to the line

Where are you in OC? I actually have those parts, I ordered them, misplaced them, and have found them again, but obviously no use of them. LMK if you're interested. Only the Toyota Part #'s stuff.

Vaccum occurred? Ill verify. I usually do a full vehicle inspection after going through deeper waters and certainly after this 160 mile off road excuraion. Ill pay extra attention to the area. Thanks, home slice

The front breather runs up into the engine bay.

The nice thing about the ARB is the massive filter element, and the ability to run 4 breathers on the single re-usable filter.
