    Yeah the 1st Gen I read not much issues other then the normal wear and tear stuff. Besides the 1st Gen Mazdaspeed 3 are true sleepers :thumbsup: Don't have to worry about some idiot ricer revving on you every stop light like the 2nd gen Mazdaspeed 3.

    space has always sucked on compact cars especially now a days. Is the condenser an issue with more recent years that you know of?

    I got 168k on my Mazda. Only had to change out the alternator. Other than that just oil changes.

    If 2003-2004 Tacoma can be had for 12-18k with miles in 90k-160k I think you have a good shot at 14K :thumbsup:

    Finally settled for 17 to a good friend of mine. I should/could have gotten more like 20 but don't like turning to Craigslist so she's at a real good home and I still get visitation rights lol.
