Orange County CAF's: up to no good

well then lets do it, someone start planning this

 

Question for ya'll. Those of you who have off road lights, how'd you mount them? I just ordered some KCs and am looking into mounting idea.

 

If it makes you feel any better I'm in basically the same seat. This weekend's snow along with a hiking trip up Mt Baldy a few weeks ago where the snow came in suddenly and hard on us is the first snow I've seen in probably just as many years. Literally the first time I've seen it fall from the sky as well.

 

I think the most common way I see is to a front bumper/bullbar/brush guard. Next up is probably roof top over the wind shield.

 

can you show me link where you have been reading? I am very curious. Been to big bear alot never seen a closed trail in the winter time.

 

I second this. Most everything I read is that Big Bear/Arrowhead trails stay open all year round unless it gets really gnarly or fires kick up.

 

I came in here looking for pictures of local spots. Where are all the pics?

 

Ya I'm thinking front bumper mount with a bull bar or brush guard, my issue there is I haven't been able to find a good one that works with 1st gens. All 05' up

That actually looks really badass. Wonder why it's only 01 - 02 though, weird. I'll look into it and see if they have one that's 04 workable as well when I have time. Thanks for the link!

 

The last time I went here there was some crazy lady and dude sitting at the entrance and I asked if the road was closed and she said "It's private property." this is the same place I watched a Riverside Sheriff sit idly in his patrol car watching a group of shooters on BLM land maybe 3-500yards down the public road.

I haven't gone back to give them shit. Yet.
