Is it illegal in CA because it is capable of holding a suppressor? Not really up to speed with all our rules with guns.

I had trouble loading the pic. It is just a different color and comes with threaded barrel. And I am not a fan of safeties, so I would rather have the SP-01 tactical, which comes with a decocker, instead of the regular SP-01.

We're fawked when it comes to firearms here in Kalifonia. Anything new is basically illegal

My P220 Combat has no safety and a decocker, and I was able to buy it in CA. Not a 9mm though.

The barrel is one of the reasons. But, the bigger problem is that there is a roster of approved "safe" handguns that can be sold here. No new guns can get added to it because any new gun would require microstamping on the casings to get approved, which nobody makes a gun like that.

Gotta love a law that requires a technology that nobody uses to make a firearm legal

I used to have 9, .40, .45, but consolidated to only 9mm. It makes it so much easier to know that if I buy a 1k case of ammo that I can feed all my guns. And 9mm is cheaper to allow more volume shooting.

I also like being an ambassador to shooting and enjoy taking new people who are fence-sitters on the subject out to the desert to introduce them to guns. Using 9mm makes that introduction less intimidating.

A 44mag would be a very special way.

I had a decent mid-range 1911 and was never able to jump on that wagon, which is probably a good thing considering the prices for higher-end brands. There is something about having a manual safety that is a turn off on handguns. I am now content with just Glock and CZ.

    We can only hope.

I had a Kimber TLE RLii. Nice gun, but the SAO and safety is not my thing. It is the platform that I did not care for, not the particular gun.

Same thing with Sig. I had a 228 at the same time as the CZ P-01, and the CZ worked better for me. They are basically the same platform, but their controls are opposite of each other, as far as the location of the decocker and slide release.

I had an LWRC REPR .308 with a decent Leopold optic on it. The cool factor a new shooter experiences when they hit a steel target past 800 meters on their first shot is priceless.

I got sucked into two 3rd gen threads this week because I wasn't paying attention. The other one was locked a few days ago.

Situational Awareness must always be on high when browsing TW so you don't end up in 3rd gen threads.

I'm hitting the range somewhere to rezero my junk as soon as a new CA compliant grip I ordered months ago and extended safety lever ever gets shipped...any day now
