Federal Sierra Gold Medal Match 175g and the iSnipe app are a good combo for 308.

Yeah FGMM is pretty much the standard match ammo for .308.

I haven't shot this baby since the last match I competed in back in Dec 2016

That is nice. What optic is that? I ended up selling the REPR to fund my welding setup once I went balls deep on my truck build and went over a year without shooting the rifle. There is still a Remington 700 in the safe, though, and I kept the Leupold.

I used to own several Nightforce Optics and a couple of US Optics scopes.

Sold the Nightforces because they were second focal plan.
Sold one US Optics because I had two yet only had one rifle at the time.
Sold the second US Optics to @glorifiedwelder in exchange for installing the supercharger on my truck after sold the rifle it was on.

Over the past 10 years or so I have had either 1 or 2 precision rifles at a time. Right now I am down to the one pictured above and no plans to build another since I don't compete any more and all my funds are going into the truck hobby.

Yeah I feel you. There are times I kick myself selling any of them but I also don't like them sitting around not getting used.

If someone else can enjoy them then that is good.

In retrospect I should have mentioned we were showing bolt manipulation and trigger control during the class.

I would have posted the same or similar w/o that info.

Loving the discussion and pics. If I'm not mistaken CA requires the manufacturers to send them them two samples of any handgun they want to market and then it's up to CA to decide whether it makes the list or not. The manufacturers are basically saying FU it's not worth our while/expense.

Yes .The hand gun roster is basically extortion and a long term stategy to eliminate hand guns.

Eventually everything will fall of the list if manufacturers say fuck it the CA market isn't worth this shit.

Then the sate can say we didn't ban guns there just aren't any that meet our high standards of safety.

So much high quality glass. You like nice things. I paid somehwere between $16-1800 for my Leupold and my brother paid around $3k for his S&B. Both are FFP and when the rifles are sitting side by side looking at the same target way in the distant desert, it becomes clear why his costs way more.

She is looking at it all wrong. She should feel honored that she passes high standards.
