@itaro here are the pics I promised:

Here's the right-rear. It's wearing fairly even, but I could drop the tire pressure a few more pounds. Anyways, tire chunks are coming off. Partly due to dry rotting, but gravel rocks don't help even if they were new.
    IMG_20180605_160103.jpg

A picture of the whole sidewall.
    IMG_20180605_160047.jpg

I was coming down Santiago Peak fairly fast from a night run and the sharp rocks sliced the top layer of the sidewall in two spots. It's really not THAT bad. I got some epoxy glue just to give it some structure, if you will. I was really wanting to get this liquid black rubber that we used for patch jobs, but couldn't find a place that sold it. Anyways, it doesn't really bother "me" because I feel that confident with my assessment, but it doesn't mean I would recommend doing this. Anyways, I have my new tires and they SHOULD be on my truck within 2x months... FINALLY!!!

You can see plenty of cord, but it didn't really break any of the plys. I'm just using these until I can get my others on and until then, I've never been worried. The liquid rubber stuff definitely would have been boss in this case because knew the epoxy would do this.

Anyways, not worried at all about it, but, again, I would NEVER do this to someone else's tire and/or recommend it... even though I'm not all that worried about it.

Btw, these tires are actually pretty grippy because they did pretty good on the trail up north. I have a small vid clip of me climbing "up" a step!!! Anyways, I have been really satisfied with these tires for sure!!!
