Orange County CAF's: up to no good

Shotguns, rifles, pistols are allowed there. Its free so don't.forget to bring your own targets.

It's on the desert so there's a huge space to accommodate everyone weather they want to play on the dirt, shoot or just kick back.

And according to the San Bernardino County Recreational Shooting and Hunting Areas it's legal to shoot there day or night. :beer:

 

My wife's uncle goes off of hodge rd every other weekend to go shooting and BBQ. I've been a few times its a cool spot and pre-runner friendly which is always a plus

 

Im usually out in the high desert every other weekend, but Im off the 395 past adelanto at mile marker 32 (wheeler road). its only 109 miles to my camping spot. BLM land, the buddys all have many rifles and hand guns, I personally go to camp and ride my dirt scooter.

 

This rain should make for some good dirt conditions for this weekend, anyone doing anything?

that's about 10-15 mins from my office.
I come from the other direction though, so I didn't know about it until I checked the news.

Traffic was brutal this morning because of the exit being closed off the 55. I liked it better when the crazies were up in Big Bear.

I wanna see all those Tacos out there! This is Slater's brand new location that opened last Monday. I've never eaten here, so it'll be a new experience for me. I know this is a bit of a drive for you guys coming down from LA/IE area, but the more trucks we get, the more worth the drive!

They have a pretty good sized parking lot, and it's RIGHT off the 5 freeway and El Toro Rd. Also, if anybody is interested, we may or may not do a Holy Jim night run through the mud (it will most likely be raining).

Being covered in snow at the moment, but yes mostly mountainous trails, mix of rocks and dirt. Open diff Prerunners were fine when we went, though it was mostly dry with only a few ice patches.

Dorner, the ex LAPD officer that went rogue blew up his truck relatively close to my cabin in Big Bear. I swear So Cal is goin cray.
