@Taqyto came by today after he had his fuel pump recall completed. They did not update his ECU while he was there for the fuel pump recall!
We updated his ECU and KDMAX tuned him up!

 

Wow, superior throttle response and seamless shifting. No more hunting for gears! I cannot wait until I get through 3 tanks of fuel. Had 1.1 mpg improvement , just on my way home. Thanks a bunch!

After getting my truck tuned I took the scenic way home through the hills of Mission Viejo to test out the tune. Not once did it search for gears or stutter it was quite the opposite it would hold gears and keep a normal speed cruising speed. I find that it is easier to enjoy cruising speed and not leave huge gaps in traffic. Pedal is a lot more sensitive and I love it. A pressure of 3 on the pedal will get me to street cruising speed (45-50) no problem .

If you are hesitant about a tune dont be! KDMAX has got your back and will put some nuts back on your truck!

 

Another happy Tacoma owner on KDMAX! 2021 with 5.29's Heath is really happy just went on 800 mile trip spending sometime in 4lo and likes the LT throttle. He wants to add gearlock soon for more control.

Cannot believe the difference in throttle response. I felt like I was driving someone else's truck lol. No more searching for gears.
Super quick off-the-light and effortless up hill. Best $300 I've ever spent on a performance modification. Thanks Dave I actually like my truck now

Took care of Matt @mysubiewasalemon & Bob out in Fontana just before noon. Thought we might not get it done ,10 freeway was stopped for a while had a guy trying to jump off an over pass! I think they talked him down and we got Matt & Bob tuned up with KDMax!

This last Saturday i tuned Father and Son Danny and Mike. They drove out from New York to visit family in San Diego. Danny was telling me how terrible the drive was traveling cross the country with the stock tune! He was not a happy Tacoma owner and his son was having the same terrible drive. He read up on KDMax and pulled the trigger for him and his son now they are both really happy with there Tacomas! Thanks Danny and Mike enjoy your drive back home!

Did a trip out to San Diego, Spring Valley area.Took care of Scott and his 2017 MT running 5.29's. After the test drive he was impressed! He will give more feedback after putting some miles on the tune. Good talking to you today Scott super jealous of your Moab trip! Enjoy the tune!
