Order date?

Not sure if this was covered already but when do we think the order window will open on the 4th gen? Thinking about ordering a 2024 although I'm sure it'll be a very long wait into 2025 to get one. I'd actually prefer a little time to see if it's just a recall monster.

 

The only thing reported so far was full production of non-hybrid models begins Dec 2023.

 

Seems odd you can’t order a hybrid Tacoma until 2024.

 

Well considering they do not go in to production until April of 2024 then why would you expect dealers to get allocations in 2023?

I am planning to wait till Dec of 2025 for the year 2 model...but at this rate, I might order one soon. I just want it so badly! Hell, I even stop caring about the current Gen Tacoma.

 

Maybe due to ramp up phase at the factory. I don't think it has been said which factory(other than Baja or Guanajuato) the Hybrid is getting made at so that could be a reason for the Hybrid delay if there is some major retooling that has to be done.

 

Will wait at least 3 years before I even consider one after the 3rd gen debacle
