Ordered a 2016 Black DCSB SR, 2.7, auto with the convenience package that includes cruise control and keyless entry. I also ordered the dark satin alloy wheels. I like the look of the SR and the gas mileage is a plus. Just hope the four cylinder works out as no 6 was offered in the DCSB SR.

I was wanting to get the SR DCSB V6 4x2 also... now I'm looking at the SR5...

Do all of the SR's have the black front bumper... I have not seen a SR in person yet, just SR5, Limited and TRD models...

From my understanding only the AC 4x2 auto's have the ugly black bumper.

No, I work for Toyota so I am guessing 3 to 6 months as they build ours to order.

I can't believe Toyota doesn't give at least offer the option of a v6 when purchasing the bottom line double cabs now. Some people don't need all the tech and just want the bare bones truck...

Does anyone have a guess as to why they would do this? I can't really see it being effective in cutting costs.

The SR v6 does exist. Outcast has one.

There's 28 versions of the new taco, not including the different packages like utility/convenience. Because of how nonsensical the model lineup is, there's a metric shitton of misinformation on here.

What is the equipment difference in the DcSB sr vs the dcsb sr5?

I am also surprised the SR DC doesn't offer manual transmission

Just curious if you got the truck yet cause you can save a bunch of money and not get the convenience package and add the cruise and intermittent wipers for about $150!!!

Little things like intermittent wipers, cruise control, mirrors behind sun visors, dash info screen.

I had a DCSB SR V6 on order but they said 3 month build wait. Got a SR5 on Black Friday instead
