Ordered a 2023 Yesterday 07/27/23

My local dealer here in Middletown, CT said last call for a 2023 was extended from July 10th to the 31st. So, with three business days to go, I “went out for lunch break and ordered a taco” is what I told my wife.

Question 1) Are they pulling my leg in hope of selling me a 2024? i.e. Do you think I can still get an allocation with only a month to go before the 2024 opens for orders?

Question 2) There’s no way my wife could have misunderstood what I said, right?

Specs:
- V6 Manual TRD Sport - 6ft bed (Access Cab)
- Lunar Rock (or white, black, or gray).
- LED light package with “tech” package (reverse sonar, not the premium audio and NAV)
- TRD performance exhaust
- Blackout package
- Bed hooks, cleats, lights, and retractable step
- TRD blackout wheels (dealer will install)

1- They sent you a vspec/spec sheet with a temp vin and the above info on it? If so, sounds legit. It seems like they're pretty motivated to sell through the 23s before the 24s hit the market.

2 - Yes lol, no room for misinterpretation there.

 

No just a purchase order proving I gave them a deposit with the specs listed.

I did use that allocation spreadsheet on here, and it seems that there’s an unsold allocation that closely matches my order to a dealership in PA. But no word from my dealership yet (granted this all went down yesterday).
