No I do not... Yet. That is why I got an 18" resonator instead of the 12" I would suggest to most people. I know the raspiness of the DTLT and I didn't want any rasp when I eventually get the DTLTs. So my exhaust is tamed a bit for now until I pick up some headers. I have planned for pretty much everything haha. So if you were to keep the rear cats but have headers, I would probably suggest a 15-18" as far as resonator length goes...

Dammit it's going to take a day longer to deliver. I work from home on Thursdays and was supposed to get delivery at my office today so I could have it installed tomorrow. Now, I'll be at home and this thing will be delivered to my work 40 miles away. WTF now I guess I'll just have to take Friday off.

I must admit, I'm really surprised at how much it quiets up at freeway speed. Actually, 35MPH at level speed quiets up quite decently too. I'm very happy with the sound at take-off, but I must say there is some rasp that some might not like but I think it sounds great. Nice throaty sound if you don't hammer the throttle too hard at take-off.

Now the performance part. I must admit that I felt an immediate uptick in horsepower, especially in higher gears. Accelleration across each gear was smoother than normal with the A/C on, and on certain spots on the freeway where there is a slight uphill grade I didn't have to force it at all to keep it at 70-75. Actually, I was hardly on the pedal when I normally would be giving it a little more gas. The true test will be to see if I get any mileage improvement at all over the next couple tanks. I just filled up on my way to the shop, so I'll see if this tank gets me a bit further than normal. Keep in mind I also have a K&N CAI with a freshly recharged filter.

One last note.. where it's installed, it's visible through the passenger wheel well and looks bad-ass. It's a bright shiny stainless and they faced the embossed logo outward so you can see it clearly without having to get under the truck. Pretty slick touch. It is very narrow so it fits up snug underneath, so I'm not going to worry about bottoming out on it. I would have gotten pics, but the sun went down and I didn't want to use the flash. I'll post some later.

As a last note, Scottsdale Muffler hooked it all up again. This is my 3rd vehicle that I've had exhaust work done on with them, and once again I'm pleased. Out the door was $50.00 ($40 for 1/2 hour labor and $10 for 3 new hangers installed) and they were done in 20 minutes.

Can I say... You're welcome!? Haha just kidding, congrats and happy you like it!

PS: it won't stay all super nice and shiny for too long though. Too keep it that way would require some upkeep

sorry for the necro post but,

if i was to get the 2525, and do NOT plan to get headers, can I expect lots of rasp? I hate rasp more than anything in the world. I dont mind a slight drone.

I also hate rasp with a passion, that is why I installed a eraonshor along with my setup. I was experiencing some rasp in the 2300 to 3000 range, and so I got rid of it.

That word is supposed to be resonator... Sorry, my phone decided that was the word I wanted to put in there and I didn't check it.

Oh gotcha mine does that too sometimes if I type too fast. So do you think the already resonated XL version would take care of this as well or is just better to go with a different aftermarket resonator? Would the resonator also get rid of droning?

The reason I don't like going the XL route is because you are restricted to the resonator that AT wants you to have... A resonator will get rid of some of the droning (the 2nd reason I picked up a resonator) but it will not get rid of all of it unless you go real big... But the bigger the resonator the less the overall volume will be, and I still wanted mine loud which is why I chose the length I did.
