I think that was my same situation. Thinking about getting a second one but bigger.

Now I'm pretty happy I made the purchase. At first I thought it was a scam. Then I saw all the reviews and people talking them up. I have always admired the yeti coolers, but would never pay 400 plus on a cooler. A little upset that I have to wait 3 months to get it, but I'm sure they are selling these like crazy. Glad to hear all the good things about these coolers.

This has nothing to do with anything, but I was at the golf course the other day and someone had a passenger van parked next to my truck. A big 4 bencher from out of state. Sitting on the back seat in plain view was a gigantic Yeti cooler, might be the biggest one they make. Every window in that van was down and I know we're supposed to be MN nice here but damn, lock up your expensive shit people.

O thanks for reminding me. I'll order a lock now. On a side note the biggest yeti plus ice and drinks is two damn big for one scabby tweaker to steal. Might take two or three.

At kids sporting events we have been warned not to leave Yetis in plain site. People will bust windows to get them... Totally why we went RTIC softside will fit behind passenger front seat, through a towel over it. We have a Yeti softside but the single zipper down the center basically makes the Yeti Softside unusable.

Sucks... Looks like one that got messed up and returned. Have you contacted them and they answered for warranty?

    I love mine!!!!

Yea it seems like a well built cooler. My ass is just chapped that it leaked all over my new truck. Soaked the back seat through the foam and the carpets. I just found the striped drain plug this morning. I wrote them an email. Hopefully I hear back by tm. I'm returning it and buying a yeti just because they shipped that 65 to me like that. They got nothing but good reviews and I'm sure I would love it, but I love my truck more. I bought my Tacoma in June and have babied it since. Only to have RTIC turn my interior into a swamp. Well you get what you pay for I guess.

Has anyone noticed condensation around the drain plug? Just curious. Never noticed til I found water in my tent while camping a while back.

I guess you folded your seat down and put the 65qt on top of it? That's a lot more weight than I would want on there. I don't blame you with switching but I would personally wait for resolution.
Cooler in the tent, girl you're asking for trouble.

It was the only time I've ever done that. Not sure why either. Normally its just under the tailgate...

Good! It might not have been from the inside of the cooler. Depending on other conditions you could have had condensation otherwise. At the Expo just being in the tent made condensation gather under the foam 'puzzle piece' mats.

Na I had it on a moving blanket on my back seat. Just because I was hunting out side of covelo ca. And I didn't want it to get stolen out of my truc bed. Yea I'm going to wait till they get back to me before a place an order to yeti. I was really stoked when I got it and I'm not saying there not sturdy or they don't work every bit as well as a yeti. Just saying they sent me one that was defective. and I find it hard to believe the person who screwed the drain plug in didn't notice that it was striped. I mean it took me three try's to get it back in. Who knows though. I'll keep everyone updated.

Well I herd from RTIC today. They told me I could wait 4-6 weeks for a replacement or they will refund me 2-3 days after they receive my cooler. So apparently they come in boxed from China then shipped out from Texas. Heading to dicks today and buying a yeti. image.jpg

One of the rubber feet popped out of mine. I added some silicone and put it back. Works better now. They look like they push in without any glue.
