got mine couple days ago. ran into 1 problem. I have one of those Ipod adapters that you plug into the cig lighter and set it to a radio station that has no signal and is just static. well after putting on the new antenna I had to find a new station cuz the old one I used now gets reception from a station I never had before. :D

i got mine and i'm not happy with it. i already put the stock one back on. none of my stations came in clear and i couldn't even get a few of them to come in at all. i put the stock one back and and it's fine.

kinda disappointed, but it was only a few bucks. guess i'll have to find another one to get...

you want to make sure that the wire inside is touching the thread adapter. Thats the only way you will have good contact and a working antenna.

i looked at it again and decided to pull the bottom piece of plastic off, now i guess i have full contact w/ the wire. it does sound better now, still not as good as the stock ant, but its good enough.

i listen to my iPod most time anyways

    thanks for the suggestions

after i bought mine from ebay, i seen that my friend had one on his taco. He said he picked it up at checkers or napa. He couldn't remember where, he told me that it was under 20 bucks. It looks a little different than the one i got. I haven't had a chance to check out walmart and those stores my friend mentioned.

i wouldn't send it through the car wash with the rubber antenna on. The funny thing is its not really flexible. The wire inside is similar to a coat hanger wire. I would think after a while, bending it back and forth would break the wire inside. jmo
