Ordered SC and Fit Kit. How long before I should start to worry?

Ordered them from LCE performance end of June. Guy assured me that although the kits were back ordered, they could get one. My l question is how long would you guys wait before asking for your money back and trying to find it somewhere else? I'm not in a hurry, but I'd hate to wait two or three months only to find out he was wrong and they can't get a fit kit.

He was of the opinion that once enough people order the supercharger, they will make kits to fill back orders. But I've heard from other sources that they aren't making any more kits, period.

Any insight is appreciated

 

I'm curious about this too since ordering from LCE is my backup plan if I can't find someone who has it in stock. Then again, I'm only looking for the blower kit (not fit kit) and hope someone will sell it individually to me like that.

 

Nevermind... I found a source for the supercharger main assembly kit. Under $4k before sales tax.

 

I'll just hold my breath and hope. If they tell me I'm screwed, I'll get full skids and cut my losses.

 

Keep us updated. I just placed an order through Mike at LCE. Who did you order through?

He said I got one of the last 1-2 fit kits and the ETA is about 4 weeks, but could be longer.

I just purchased a fit kit for my 14 from Toyota of dallas texas, They said they had 13 of them in there warehouse. you may want to check with them.

 

Just got off the phone with Mike at LCE. He said they've filled all the orders before mine and I'm the first one where Toyota has finally told him he can't get any more.

He said if I wait three weeks or so, he'll know with 95% certainty whether there's any possibility at all that they can scrounge one up. I'm going to let him hold on to my money for that time, and if the news is bad, I'll just have to accept it and stay open to other options in the future.
