Ordering 2020 TRD OR

The advanced tech package in OR vs CA is a bit different. I have no idea why that is. In OR, advanced tech package does not have BSM, RCTA and Rear Parking Sensor. In CA, the package includes them and I need them to navigate in LA traffic.

Thanks for the idea though. I love Oregon for its nature and NO Sales Tax!!! LOL

 

Found one in TN. Anyone gone through out of state purchase and register in CA? I heard it's a bit pain in the ass.

Can either finance or pay all at once whatever makes it easier to register in CA.

 

They should have been able to order a Manual Off Road as long as it was a Double Cab Short Bed.

 

I’m actually in TN and had to drive down to Mississippi to get my truck bc the TRD OFLB with the leather seat/sunroof/ JBL package was hard to find in the region my local dealers are in. Process was easy as pie.

They did.. but "ordering" means putting in an allocation request, and that's what has ended up taking months to get approved, and then a few more months to actually get built/delivered.

edit: what I meant by "they just don't order them" is that Gulf States doesn't typically request manuals in their regular stock allocations... so they don't have many/any manuals sitting on the lot. They have to be specially requested.

 

Right, the TX factory only builds manuals once every 3 months so depending where your request comes in will determine the length of your wait, took around 4 months to get mine.
