That's what I was told. The only option I want is Super White, and the dealer/San Antonio can change that.

Thanks, man. That's exactly what I've done - all dealers in NM and CO dealers up to Denver. As I said elsewhere, that's hundreds of Tacoma allocations.

Never stepped foot in this dealer, they sent me the quote via email. Took that to my local dealer who beat it and threw in all weather mats.
Longo Toyota in SoCal was just as aggressive with pricing. Not low enough for me to fly down but still way below MSRP.
Mine came with Tech package, even if I went premium is 3k sticker more and 2k include. So a DCSB with Premium is currently going for around 35-36k. If you get a Pro for 43,500, that’s 7500-8500 more. Obviously you felt that’s worth it and I didn’t. No need to argue which is a better deal, I’m just stating facts that the price gap is big between the two.

I have a great relationship with my local Toyota Dealer, they had a hard time getting a Pro allocated for me because Toyota doesn't allocate many for Canada let alone small dealers, They ordered mine Sept 17' it arrived end of Jan 18'. Very happy I went with it and I don't have to spend all the extra money adding parts to make it look like a Pro.......

I currently have about as much money in my truck as a friend of mine with a stock pro. I went with a less expensive, lower ride quality suspension (OME nitrochargers), but I have a front bumper, winch, lights, full skids, sliders, bed rack, RTT, 35s, etc. I regularly hit trails he wouldn't even dream of in his truck, and we have spent about the same amount of money

Why anyone, who plans on upgrading everything, would but anything beyond an SR5 is beyond me. Just seems so wasteful. Unless reselling the OEM parts makes the difference.

That’s a hell of a deal at $34k (plus fees?) I’ve never heard of anybody getting an automatic DC OR w/ premium package for that price. Short or long bed. Especially in CA!

Funny the MSRP from your email doesn’t match anything Toyota has online though. One guy I spoke with on this forum got an OR for 32,500 but it was base package and dealer made a mistake quoting. Congrats! That would be hard to walk away from.

What skids and sliders did you get? Bolt on? Steel or aluminum? Rack and RTT?
I have Mobtown skids and sliders on order. Had a local member here fab me a bed rack, it’s sick! Luckily I scored on my RTT. $900 for a Tepui Rugged Kukenam. Retails for $2,100. Scored at REI garage sale after it was returned for superficial damage when it was shipped.
I’m thinking about going with the hidden recovery in front instead of the full w/ winch. That way I can winch from front or rear.
Doubt I’ll ever go bigger than 33s.

I said I got tech, not premium. Didn’t want the premium package. That’s why I said add 2-3k price for premium. Of course LB is 1k more then SB price. That’s why I said a DCSB with premium will go for around 35-36k right now.

And all that damned work. I'm 69 now. It was easier when I was 29. Or you have to pay for labor, and even in NM is isn't cheap.

Guess I’m hiring you to negotiate next time! Because an AT DCSB OR w/ tech package has a MSRP of $41k(including fees).

Considering you got yours with only tech package for $34k (plus fees - $995 delivery fee). That’s $35k.

    Premium package is $3,000 more...
If you could have got the premium package at $35k why didn’t you? It would have been free according to your math.

Labor rate is crazy up here, Plus if i decide to get rid of it ill have no trouble, i could probably turn a profit on it right now. Last Tacoma was a 99' so i figure this time get exactly what i want.

I'm local to RCI so I've gone through them for everything and it's all steel except the bed rack is aluminum. The sliders are bolt on but I am contemplating welding them on. I went with the full bumper for the approach angle. And the 35s require a lot of work to fit, but the truck walks over everything now

My bedrack is a thin steel tubing but still very light. I’ll need to do more research on the front approach angle, but that’s a good reason to upgrade. Almost went RCI. Will most likely go Pelfreybilt for the rest of my build because it’s the closest shop with the best rep. Still a little bit of a drive from LA to SD but doable. Yeah with the 35s I’m sure your bud in the Pro can’t crawl with you. Sounds like a sweet setup. Cheers brother!

When buying my pro, they weren't able to trade another dealership for one, but they were able to allocate one to them that wasn't originally intended to be. They told me I'd potentially have to wait 2 months, but it ended up being 2 weeks. I got mine about $700 under MSRP with minimal options.

I didn’t say I could have got premium for the same price. I said add 2-3k for it. But mine was 33,800 with deliver fee. Only thing I paid extra was $80 document fee. I didn’t want premium package because I didn’t feel it was worth 2k more.
