Zach, I'm up to run some light snow trails or something this weekend. Keep in touch if you plan to make any runs, would be fun to meet a few people and get out with the tacos

 

nope oc man. i cant till my truck is done. i will once it is.

 

So this winter storm is disappointment. Looks like I'm going to have to go up the mountain this weekend to see some real snow.

 

no place in mind. i know goat is prolly a bit deep. TSF could be an option. know theres some log roads prolly snowed in up memaloose. anything you've got in mind is cool too. I'd like to hit some place I've never been before

 

yessss. theres like 3 inches at my house in less than an hour

There is another Dutch in OC though, right by the train tracks that you go over before going up a hill to go to like the upper OC part..I'm not very familiar with OC so I don't know any roads..lol

 

the DBs at the bottom of the hill, before going across the train tracks blows, no $2 Tuesdays, on DBs that doesn't do it. They said because when they did do it traffic backed up into the road and caused traffic problems. WHACK

 

GAH...so pissed. After it snowing while im in class it quit. So with my hope i was thinking it was going to snow tonight, looks like just rain then freeze so looks like ima be doing some serious parking lot drifting tomorrow.

 

Yeah I believe it, there is always a line of traffic backing up into the road anyways! I've only been there like 4 times, I just go when other friends wanna go, it's pretty good I just get Red Bull

 

I went there on time on my way to my girls work in West Linn and ordered a coffee for me and her, expecting to pay $4, instead the girl asks me for $9. I told her she could keep both coffees or take my money. She told me she would not honor the deal at a further date. I informed her I would not be in at any further date.

 

All we had was icy rain today. Meh. Still had a lot of coworkers stay home to 'avoid the blizzard'

 

I believe it's Browns Camp, why they call it that I have no idea. Hopefully someone knows I'm kinda curious now! lol

 

TSF = Tillamook State Forrest, aka Browns Camp.

 

TSF is a large area that encompasses Brown's Camp, Horse Camp, some old prison I think, Jordan Creek, Rogers Camp, and a bunch of other locations. For our purpose, Brown's Camp is the only one we really care about, but TSF is so much easier to type.

 

same down here, i stayed home from class to "avoid the road" aka still hungover.

 

Any body in Seattle looking to wheel this weekend?

 

We should get at least another rig with us. I dont plan on getting into anything crazy or anything but itd be cool to have at least a few people. Im up to meet wherever.

 

^^ sorry Zach. Its my neices 1st birthday on Saturday and I'm on a budget. I wish I could join you guys. Last time I went wheeling at TSF was before I deployed in Dec of 07 and it was a snow run with my old truck.

Hopefully February I will be more financially stable to go on a run or 2.

I'd plan on meeting early, like 9am so we have plenty of daylight.

University FP is closed, but I think Cedar Tree is still open
I've been trying to scour the web for conditions, and it's either snowy or bare depending on the elevation.

 

haha perfect. i had a snow day today and it rained all of the snow away by 7am so i could still drive to my friends house to hang out! haha perfect
