Seriously... I'm stumped. Why the hell after I just put new leafs in the rear is it leaning? I checked measurements and its over an inch different. Any ideas on how to fix?

Spacers. It is widely known that there is a lean to driver side due to more weight (gas tank, battery, etc), but from what I have read on that, 1/4" spacers are all that is needed. A full inch sounds like you may have missed a piece on one side.

Lol. Check the PNs on them. One should have a "ds" or "ns" possibly on it? Not sure if ap does that or not, but the rest of the companies do

Military wrap goes toward the front on leaf springs. I bet you have one bass akward.

If I was going to buy a new one, it would be one of these. 2wd, street legal. Parts the same as honda.

They really aren't any more than any other motocross bike, and certainly cheaper than most street bikes. The dollar is worth less every year. A new diesel pickup is over $60K now. $70K for a fancy one.

This is going to be my first bike, so I think something more traditional would help me build better skills.
Also, the WRR is as much as I feel like affording right now ;) going to sit down and look at finances tomorrow to really get an idea of what direction I can go.

If any of you guys have used gear, let me know, too.

Yeah that will be plenty of bike at first, and reliable as a hammer. Awd is cool, but unless you are riding the gnar completely useless. Lots of good deals on gear on CL.

Have you driven it yet? Or do we need to do a test run soon?

I'm sorry. How can that be 2wd? My mind blown right now

So a big question in my mind is how do you know when you are redlining a bike when there's no tach? I'm probably lugging it or shifting too early, but I'd rather not blow have it blow up

You'll learn to get a feel for it. If I have the room to do it, I just pin it wide open, slip the clutch, click through the gears and when it is topped out as fast as it will go feather the clutch to get even more out of it. They are tougher than you think. Just ride man.

question for anyone... selling my stock exhaust for a '13 DCSB. A guy is interested but has an 08' DCSB. Im aware they changed one of the hanging brackets 90 degrees when they came out with the 13's. Other than that, does anyone know if this will work for the guy? Id really like it out of my garage...
