It legitimately is that long of a season?! I hadn't been able to find any details on ODFW's site yet.

I think the regular LOP tags that you can give away (or sell) are for the season and unit the private land is in. The Landowner Damage program is the one that has crazy long seasons, and I also think it is only for the landowner and immediate family members, at least that's how we do it. Damage tags are for cows only, no bulls. There are also some other interesting beni's to the LOP program. Like unused general season tags can be exchanged for LOP tags, can sell to a guide for extra income etc. Call the ODFW, I don't really know how it works I just know what we do.

thanks for the rec. they were really helpful. apparently my stock amp has some problems so they figured something out for me and it sounds great now.

does anyone have a recommendation for a solid bluetooth receiver? my HU works fine, but it does not have bluetooth. thats the main feature i want in order to stream audio (both from mp3 and pandora if that matters). the front USB port is also a big plus.

im looking at this right now.

No problem man. As for a HU I'm a fan of my Kenwood only thing it doesn't have is BT audio streaming

on another note. does anyone know of a lumber mill or something near portland/beaverton? I want to build a butcher block style desk sorta like this:

    http://www.instructables.com/id/Butcher-Block-Hardwood-Table/

i dont want to go down to home depot and just buy up a bunch of plain looking 2x4s. id prefer to get some reclaimed wood or just something that has some character. id like to get it from somewhere that can plane? it for me? im not sure on that terminology but i think it means when they cut the wood in half vertically. basically anything they can do to help me keep everything square.

I know that the home depot near me actually sells reclaimed wood. just a heads up... might look into it. I think they're catering to the DIY'ers

    crap bolted and welded together....
so Ive got a workers comp claim sadly. Got hit in the face on accident and did some teeth damage :( My top front teeth took a hit, now I look like a hillbilly :(

My concern at this point is cost down the road. If i get just some "chip" repairs, those arent permanent. After some time they will fail and require more work. Which if workers comp pays now, do they pay say 5 years down the road when the chip repairs fail and need attention? Or does that come out of my pocket?

Can I require two caps that look real and not take no for an answer? I feel those would be best, just get it done and hopefully never have an issue with them. Im just not sure how the workers comp crap works. Id hate to get screwed years down the road with the cost, especially since I was injured due to an employee not paying attention.

Any advice would be great, the office people didnt have a damn idea and my dentist appt is monday morning.

I can't give you any advice on the comp claim, but as a former bar fighting bare knuckle champ with the broken teeth to prove it, I can tell you the repairs WILL fail. Caps are the only permanent solution. Check your medical insurance as well, often there is dental coverage included for things like that.

Hey Seattle folks... Recommendation on a Brewery in the area? I'm visiting from SF Bay Area and I'm looking to grab some brews this afternoon. Staying SE of downtown, Jackson/23rd ave area... Grabbed some "Two Beers" IPA and Elysian IPA at the local market. Enjoying both. Any suggestions?

    love the pic.

I had one repair that has failed twice on me, and wouldnt ya know... its part of the front that got busted. :/

Im just more concerned about long term for me. If i have the right to tell my dentist to fix them caps, and not just chip repair. Do they have to do it that way then bill the insurance for the claim? Or can they only due the cheapest/bare minimum do to it being a claim? Fuck this technical insurance BS.

Rob, I think it depends on the dentist. I've had really good dentists that won't settle for stuff that breaks, hopefully yours is the same.

Speaking of injuries, I busted my foot during my dirtbike class yesterday. We were practicing emergency stops. I was standing up, weight over the front fork. I don't think I did a great job of throwing my weight back, but I did a really great job of hitting those front breaks! I did a forward diagonal glide off. Not sure what was going on with the lower body, but I did a hell of a headbutt to the dirt. At the time I thought, "Wow, my helmet is a champ!" I didn't pass out or anything.
I have a bit of a headache, small sprain to the right ankle, and a pretty bad sprain on the right foot's metatarsal. I'm in a walking cast hobbling about :p
Since it's the right foot, I can't drive anywhere. I've had thoughts about riding the bike with the cast on, but that's probably asking for trouble

It will be like the baja 1000. Except on the ocean. With no pit stops. And it will last two days.
