Then you don't need a commuter car. Corvallis isn't a huge city or campus. Fuck I walked across it last year for a football game.

I didn't have a car at all when I was living down there while living on campus. Parking would have been expensive and hellish. On a Sunday night, you either had to leave the car parked or suffer finding a spot a mile off campus.
EVERYone walks, or there will be the few kids who have a car despite all odds and are instantly forced into the role of 'bus driver'.

EDIT: If you live off campus, you might want a vehicle, but there's no sense in getting something new (to you). Your truck is paid and I'm assuming the maintenance is cheap. It's going to cost you more to get a car unless you trade down.

    So much kid talk.

If you don't want a litter, stick it in her shitter.

Western Yamhill County haha. Seems like bucks have been dropping like flies in the last week. The rut definitely finally hit haha.

Don't be the guy that leaves every weekend for home. You only get 4 or so years of this, and all the moments count no matter if it's fun time or work time. Weekends are when your roommates, housemates, and dorm mates go on adventures. You also miss weekend study groups, which are important for building working relationships with classmates. You need those relationships to be successful, and they also give you the potential for connections once graduated.

Pull off the LT since Bobert wants it.
    Put on some street tires.
Your end cost is guaranteed less cost than an alternative.

If you still don't believe me, park your truck at your parents for the first term... if you can't stand it, keep the truck. Determine at that point if there's a reason to get rid of it. The only logical points are maintenance or if people are hassling you to move a couch every weekend. If you don't believe that, then write it on paper and see the cost 'benefit' of a commuter.

Wrong attitude bud. College is fucking awesome. You should enjoy every minute you have there and every person you meet. People are always willing to help you out if you ask for it. oSU is like every other college. Most students use study groups.I had a couple professors who made group study groups mandatory. And I'm glad they did.

x2. I went back almost every weekend my first year. Mistake. Granted, I was one heck of an anti-social, awkward fucker. Not anymore haha.

So wrong. Very few people can get by without the help of others. Especially in the engineering majors. I may not be an engineer, but I have many friends who are and have been in the SAE program for years. Getting help from other people is critical and most people know it.

x2 again. There are always assholes, but for the most part everyone is in the same boat. The only issue with finding study groups is nailing down a time, not finding willing people.
