home with a cold the last two days...

Decided today was a good day to make a decision on getting out of the AG game. Been working on my resume, hopefully things work out. Kind of weird to know at some point I'm not doing what i have been all my life. But, been weighing "income vs. time" an realize I can make the same with normal hours/life.

    Hows everyone's Wednesday going?

Not bad. Just ordered my new suspension. Now I have an excuse to go play around to do some "testing" and "showing" so I can write up a good review and get a new product sold.

BTW, what do you want to do/what kind of skillsets do you have outside of AG?

Yeah. He should be getting them in this week, and building/shipping them by end of next week. Also picked up some LR UCA's. They have them 30% off and free shipping right now at metaltech.

    What did you pick up?

I can fix damn near anything lol. Really tho, Im fairly skilled in mastercam/autocad/solidworks. I can make/repair/operate pretty much anything with/without wheels, weld (not certified), people oriented. I have a degree in CNC millwork but, i dont want to work indoors all my life.

Ive been looking at JCI down here as field tech. They build and design stuff for aggregate, crushers/screens/etc. I actually enjoy building/mending things. I spend most days at work working on farm equipment, semis, tractor trailers, hay presses, pivots/linears. So a little change of pace would be awesome.

Im not holding my breath tho, Im keeping options open for whatever as im just not 100% on what i want out of a career anymore..

One post up for what I got.

And that is good you have a different set of skills than the average person. I would recommend when you are adding references, add a different reference for each set of skills you have. Maybe a business you did welding for, or type of welding. Which autos you fixed. Who you have done CNC stuff for, etc. I would help with the resume, but I haven't had to write one in 12 years, and I still have another 8 until I need to think about it.

The downside to my resume as ive been working on it is the lack of different jobs.

Basically a pair of brothers now own both companies i work for. So everything i do is for both, under one business name now. Its hard to build a resume with basically two businesses as work history. Everything ive gained in skills is from working at these two companies.

Trying to write up a resume is a PITA. I did one years and years ago in college for a class, thats the last ive ever done one. I need to read up stuff on the interwebz so i make it legit
