should i got with the extended or std travel with the stage 1 icon for my 4runner?

 

First of all, HOLY SAS.

Second of all, I think it depends on if you have aftermarket UCAs. Does the stage 1 come with new UCAs? Then yes.

 

Extended. Doesn't cost anymore. And then upgrade your UCAs. The standard length ones you can keep your stock UCAS but since you are in there already best to upgrade them.

No. Stage 1 is front and rear shocks only. Non reservoir

just got a 15' 4runner last night. the sas beast was sold...

im getting the stage 1 extended travel with LR uca for $1875 shipped.. is this a good deal? lol

ya, i went with the sr5 premium with 3rd row. parts list includes icon stage 1 with LR uca with 285 duratrac

 

You could have gotten it a little cheaper probably. Did you get a trail edition?

I have and am still debating doing the same. I wish you could get it with a 6 speed though. I loved my 4Runner with the 5 speed.

 

no trail, as they dont have 3rd row, please suspension will be replaced anyways.

cant find it any cheaper. the kit it self is 1742 from wheeler or downsouth. but i got it for 1500. which includes frt coilovers. rear springs and shocks.

 

Oh didn't know the stage 1 for the runner included springs. That's nice.

 

We can still swap suspension before he shows up...

 

This. I hate manuals vanishing left and right. I was terrified that 3rd gen tacos were gonna drop it.
