The elk are dropping their antlers. Have a trailcam pic of two of those still on a bull's head a week ago.

Very cool! My sweetie just said we should get me some trail cams. LOL No trees where we're going. But I love her for suggesting anything outdoorsy.

We met with a realtor today... going to put this house on the market by the end of April... and head east of the Cascades. Maybe I can start following some Muley trails and collect some shed antlers.

I keep reading this too late in the evening... but the Hotel Oregon is fun. They have a UFO Festival there in May, I think it is. McMenamins owns it... decent beer, I understand... and the food's been good in my experience.

Cool downtown area there by the hotel for walking around.

Nope. But the beer's pretty good at the Pelican. They've won bunches of international awards, so I understand. Not a drinker, but lots of friends like their stuff. Oh. I have had the root beer. Good stuff.

Have fun riding. It's a great cause. :)

Glad I am not the only one who thinks 9 months is safe for forward seating. I love how the "2 year" thing is thrown out there so much. My kid HATED being rear facing.

We moved from the infant seat to a Britax once she reached 20 lbs. which was at approximately 12 months. More than my daughter, my wife was eager to reclaim her place in the front passenger seat. She spent a year riding in back keeping the baby company when she was rear-facing.

"BRITAX convertible car seats can be used rear facing from 5 to 40 pounds and forward facing from 1 year and 20 pounds, up to 65 pounds, depending on the seat."

That's from their website but I'm sure it's a general rule - not specific to only Britax.
