Need some advice guys, I am looking at a Canopy for my DCLB and have come across one but don't know if it will fit. The canopy is a Leer 122 and it's currently on a Tundra with a 6.2 ft long bed.

Kind of a rookie question...I don't think it will fit, but the seller thinks it will just fine (of course). Any input on this would be great and much appreciated. Cheers

I don't think it will, reasoning being is i think a tundra's bed is wider than a tacoma's bed. Your best bet is to call a canopy installer, like CanopyWorld or something, and ask them.

I agree, I think the Tundra bed is a few inches wider or so. Well, decent deal for anyone that wants it:

My SWR no matter what i do (change location and mounting styles) will not budge from 1.3. Im happy its under 1.5, but wish i could get it lower. Any of you guys at 1.3-1.5 and are okay with the transmit/receive capabilities?

No it won't fit for sure, also because the mounting mechanism is different from the canopies made for tacomas

Question for you guys with kids and a DC...so my wife and I are expecting, what is the room like with a car seat in the rear seat? Do the front seats need to scooted up, is there enough room in the front in the back? Doesn't seem like there will be enough room without having to have your knees in the dash. ( I'm 6'2, wife is 5'8)

Well, I sold my 01 extra cab last week and picked up an 05 TRD Sport over the weekend. It was an older lady's truck (mid 80's) that hasn't been able to drive for a little while thus it just rolled over 101k miles. It's been maintained meticulously and other than a few minor scratched is essentially in new condition. It even had the original battery, which failed the night I bought it, but that only further proves it's been sitting for a while. I had been trying to get something a little newer than this, but I saved big $$$ so I can afford to order a lift, wheels, and tires immediately. 05taco_zpst3eapkl1_8601a792cb9bfe654e442bfc455398bcd9c49ef5.jpg

My kids are 12yo and 9yo, no issues with seats but I am in an '03 DCSB. Not sure about the new DCs with air and climate zones, etc.

One would assume that the rear facing car seat is on the passenger side with the car seat base attached to the LATCH system (for ease of use).
Best way to find out is to take your planned car seat system to various models and do a test fit(s).
