It was a good weekend. For those that were invited and couldn't make it, there will be a next time, but 400 miles and three camps in three days required a pedal to the metal pace that at times felt more like work than play. Next time we won't throw the lasso so wide, and maybe some of you dudes can make it for the next one.

We didn't really have enough time,(it is close to the NV border) plus it was smokin' hot down in the desert and everyone wanted to get back into the woods.

My daughter is 6, turning 7 in August, and I have had the truck since she was newborn with no issues. Granted, I'm 5'6" and my daughter's mom is about 5'8"-ish and we've had plenty of room.

So who wants bad news? Ok so I've put 700 miles on my LCE Pro Clutch. Still chatters like a bitch. Still sucks. SO. I called LCE to give them an update (they've been super helpful). They said that my clutch should not chatter like that at all. Its not a freaking crazy dual comp racing clutch. I was worried it was my flywheel. O'reilys took two passes off of it because it was warped and even then a small amount was left untouched. What they failed to do though is realize its a *stepped* flywheel. That means they needed to pull the dowels and grind down where the pressure plate bolts to the flywheel. The step is supposed to be 20,000 of an inch difference. Well they ended up taking 20,000 of an inch off only the main flywheel surface. So now I have double the recommended distance. Apparantly that's really bad and can burn up my clutch and is the cause for my problems. So I'm going to need to buy a new OEM flywheel since I don't want to eff with this one anymore. This sucks, the clutch guys suggested I do it before Moab and think I should go raise hell at O'reileys. Opinions? Thoughts?

I would get on the road right now and go buy that if I were you. You could flip it for $5K+ tomorrow if it's not your thing. Things to look out for and ask questions about are the head gasket (I'm sure it's been replaced with those miles) and the Pesky Heater Hose repair. The other thing to inspect is the knuckles up front. A little grease is normal, but if there is 90 weight oozing out you know it's time for seals and bearings. At that price, if it runs well and isn't barfing oil everywhere it's a great deal.

Cool man! There's some pretty country up here! We're carrying some tube to Portland and stayed in baker city a couple nights. You ever check out barley Browns?
