I'm bummed about this whole thing cuz I *just* flushed my radiator and block :/ I'm putting a new belt on. Mehhhhhh I'm not sure I wanna replace all the pulleys... It's getting expensive haha I still have to pay for LT when my coilovers are done

 

And your clutch. In your situation, I would have bought a couple gallons of walmart oil and called it good.

EDIT: I am in your situation actually. My rear main on the landcruiser leaks. I changed the oil with 20W-50 Rotella and it stopped.

Didn't you just do your clutch? I mean I would just top it off as needed and not worry about a minor leak.

 

Yes I did! Oh you're talking about my timing cover leak, I thought you were talking about my Clutch and oil lol. Yeah some think it's ridiculous that I'm doing this, but I've always prided myself in having a vehicle that doesn't leak. I'm sick of it being all over my engine, hood, and on my skids. And since I'm not driving my truck until LT I'm thinking why not...

I've got some stuff to do soon myself. 25k until I need to do my diffs...

 

Diffs are easy, Cept a had to use a floor jack and a 6 point socket to get the rear fill plug off. Almost stripped that sucker.

 

How do you know if your pulleys are bad? Or do they just stop?

 

Mine squealed lol.

Hmm I'm interested. Any pics of it mounted on your truck? Also, did you have to drill into roof for wiring or is there a hole under weatherstripping?

 

I can take a few tomorrow for you. Also you can check RF site for a few images. The wiring runs down the window channel on the drivers side. I can also take a few pictures of that. That's what many people do with roof light's.

I've got a super top in my shop waiting to go on, 4.56 gears and locker just sitting. Ours will be like twins maybe lol
