Anyone in here ever work with Jeff at badlandbumpers? I've been looking around for a shop that's suspension savvy to install the rear bamf towers. Referrals would be great, I'm willing to drive a moderate distance for solid work.

sounds like everyone's favorite thing to do around these parts is throw money at Mule Expedition Outfitters

I fully support Mule, they're awesome to work with and do quality 'off the shelf' installs, but custom suspension setups isn't their forte, nor is it honestly worth their time. They've hit gold with the jeep crowd and are backed up like no other. I'm mostly looking for a shop that deals with more custom rigs than bolt on rigs. No hate for Mule, it's just the wrong shop for the job.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Auburn collision and off-road may be a better bet for you. A bit out of your way, but I'd get with them.

I completely agree with this. Also they raised their shop rate for customer supplied parts..

I had my entire suspension replaced there with 5100/5125 and camburgs. It was customer supplied and some of the work was "unF..k" what was "F"-ed (i.e. grind the weld off the front diff drain).

They also replaced the passenger side front wheel bearing (I will learn how to do this myself as $1100 is rather steep)

What's up guys. Looking to get my OEM wheels powder coated in the Seattle area. Any recommendations on where to go? I have heard Les Schwab will have them done and supposedly they do a decent job? Definitely willing to drive a bit for the right person to do it and price.

Let me know if you guys have any insight on this, cheers.

I've gotten all my powder coating done at powder fab in Arlington. They've done an amazing job for me and only about a 3-4 day wait usually unless you do their "Black Friday special", basically semi gloss black is 20% off and they get it done the very next Friday.

Outa curiosity - anyone in the Portland area have a welder and some skills? I'm starting to plan for sliders and don't think Gorilla Glue or Gaffer's Tape will quite do the trick to attach them to the frame once I get them.

I'm afraid of what some welding shop would do...and charge.

    Edit: Updated for clarity

Evan at Marshall Fab does some great rock sliders for tacomas. He does great work and was super easy to deal with. He had my sliders ready in a week and kept me updated with pics throughout the process.

Yep, I already posted in his thread. Thanks!

I wasn't clear on what I was looking for. After I get sliders, they need to be welded on. That's what I'm looking for... :)

I have these guys do all my welding, they do a great job and I would highly recommend them.

Yup, it's just 2 guys (Anders and Nick) working out of a temporary location right now but the welds are really nice and the attention to detail is top notch. And the prices have always been more than fair. I have also had work like that done by Austin at Superior Off Road but I cannot recommend that in good conscience.
