    Yep, the other option would be to make a jig from a proven design. I'd feel dirty doing that though

    Even then it would be tough to replicate. Just keep your eyes peeled for a used setup. That's what I did, and it was almost brand new for 60% the cost of new.

    Thousands of them. 1/3 of the state is public land (National Forest/BLM/State park etc.) and it's crisscrossed with old logging roads. Better get here before the snow flies though.

    @dakotasyota can you elaborate on your choice of LT? Why'd you go with the TC kit instead of the Allpro +2? I'd like to go with a +2 kit as well

    I went with the Total Chaos kit for multiple reasons.
    Total chaos first and foremost is stronger. Comes with boxed lowers. The all pro kit is tube.
    People also complain about the all pro kit snapping CVs since they don't come with limit straps.
    Lastly, (I forgot who brought this up to me... @username perhaps?) all total chaos does is build suspensions. They don't build armor and other misc stuff like all pro. All pro also outsources things. I would rather buy from the specialists.

    If I could offer some advice though. I would go with the race kit. I didn't know there was a standard and a race kit. Pretty bummed that I have the standard but whatever it works the same.

    Thanks for the input, if I could snag an Allpro kit for a good deal I'll probably go that route, are people snapping extended stock Cv's or the RCV's?

    Dobinson's 2" Lift Cooper Discoverer AT3
    Hey guys, newb question. I am currently running my stock 2015 Sport wheels with some 265/70 KO2's and want to throw on some Pro Comp 7089's. I believe the stock wheels I have on are 7.5" wide with 5.5" backspacing. These Pro Comp's are 8" wide with 4.5" backspacing. Will these Pro Comp's work out with my current tires and if so is there any negative aspects to stretching the tires another .5"?

    I am running a set of 265/75-16's Duratracs on Pro Comp 7032's that are 8" and I haven't had any issues so you should be just fine with that setup.

    The width of the wheel will not be an issue for the tire. But as Brian indicated, the new wheel has an 1" less backspacing and is a .5" wider so it'll sit at least an inch further out. May be even 1.5"s further out. Potentially you could see rubbing at the pinch weld/mud flap area because of this.
