We settled on $800. Pretty much brand new condition.

Not sure his price but you can PM Evan(?) at Marshall Fab in Vancouver @ETaco23

That blows! Neither company wants to own up while you're stuck in the middle. Let us know who mans up to fix your issue. I'd say discount since the breakage occurred while in their care.

It was quite the pissing match I had going this morning. Discount ended up calling the service guy that I spoke to and they got nowhere with him either. I got a call 15 minutes later from Discount saying they would refer me to a contracted mechanic and they would cover the cost. So now I get to deal with the mechanic shop in the morning. A 1 hour tire change turned into a 4 day ordeal.

The best method of welding sliders is to use intermittent welds and only on the edges parallel to the frame. This is just my professional opinion.

That's how I did mine, but no intermittent welds. I just fried mine on. Square 4x4 plates welded around the edges. I used flux core wire. They have been on there for ten years, and I bet a box of beer none of you has been as hard on your frame as I am. The point is, no matter how you weld them it will probably be ok, assuming you have a strong weld.

Eh, see my Build Thread sig link. Too many mods to list.

Funny you should say that...Evan is who made my sliders! He's just not able to weld them on at this time.

The girlfriend's journey down the long, dark road to an empty wallet has begun. She started buying truck parts haha. Pelfreybuilt bumper on the way.

Got the tent back on the truck and started organizing my gear for elk camp. Stoked for a week of drinking beers, camping and having the chance of putting some meat in the freezer

A buddy of mine has been heading over east near Thorpe, he invited me over this year.

Don't forget that I have those sway bar bushings here, I'm heading out to the movies tonight with the woman but I can put them on the porch railing if you want.

As an update, I went to the mechanic this morning and he said he wont be able to get to me until next week because he's leaving for Montana today and wont be back until Friday. So I ended up buying the stud and replacing it myself.

    Are floor mats a mod?
Going to wallawallawaallllla this weekend for the balloon stampede. Any good shortish trails anyone can recommend for on the way or in the wallawalllllaaa area? (Wtf is up with my spell check?) thanks for your input

And yes, I've looked at the trails thread. I'm looking for some local input. Thanks all!
