Looks interesting, only issue I have is it only works if you have someone else with a gotenna, I'll stick to getting my ham radio license, using my CB and such.

 

Ahhhhhh I figured there was a catch. No wonder they sell them in pairs.

 

yeah, you use their app to send text's and maps to someone else with a gotenna when you get separated hiking etc....

 

Ohh that makes sense now. Never mind haha I have my ham license but not many others do so it isn't much of a good use.

 

Anyone ever heard/used pro forge inner tie rod ends? My Moog's are on back order until Jan. 11th and Summit Racing said this is a sub... If they aren't good I may just go OEM even though its 4x the price

 

I'd go heimed inners if I were you. Less than OEM

 

No I didn't. I have a new LCE one. I mean it's gotta be better than stock.

I don't understand what I'm accomplishing by adjusting

 

I'm no expert; but I'm pretty confident that's where my issue was...

 

Those type of failures happen because it low on torque converter fluid

 

It's an R155F out of a 2TRFE....

 

Well if your engagement point is right off the floor, it will feel weird when you dump the pedal. I have mine adjusted to engage pretty late in the stroke, so I don't have to push it in as far for faster shifts. It pops off the floor with much more force than if it's adjusted all the way in. Damn I shoulda got that. Didn't realize it was a whole kit with a new shaft and everything.
Makes sense, I guess I just fiddle with the adjustment till I like it?
Also do you know if the TOB should be spinning in neutral with the clutch out?

 

Check ebay. Not auctions but the stores. They might have some. I just did a quick look and there were some Mog tie ends listed but I didnt lok to closely.

Ive actually had good luck buying parts off ebay. Can usually get them cheaper than normal places online and almost all of them offer free returns if you do screw up and get the wrong one.

HEY! I was gonna say that!

 

I buy pretty much all my car parts off ebay. You can usually get pretty good deals on oil filters, air filters, and stuff like that by buying 6-12 at a time.

Only stuff I dont buy is stuff im not 100% sure on...like brake pads for my car (which were same price anyways)...or stuff with core charges (like my cars master cylinder i need to install)

 

I heard you need to make sure your blinker fluid is above the min line or youll have problems too!

 

1. Adjust it by the book. I made it easy for you by posting the link to the manual.

2. No, it shouldn't...if the clutch pedal is adjusted properly. You will hear a little noise from the input shaft spinning. When in neutral with the clutch out the clutch disk is clamped, which spins the input shaft of the trans and makes a minor rattle. The TOB shouldn't be touching though.
