Exactly. I carry a 2 ton come-a-long and a hi-lift and they have always gotten me home, but I also don't aim for Mississippi clay mud pits with the pedal matted. The worst stuck I get is when I get buried in the snow, and usually I can get out with a shovel and some cuss words.

Yeah that's what I thought! And I completely agree with you! He broke it trying to pull my truck over a ledge. Now all he says is "Synthetic is a POS. It will always break. Won't hold up to steel at all" SMH

He shouldn't have bought another 8000, especially with steel line.

I decided today to knock a couple of the icicles off my gutters. Some of the icicles are 2-3 feet long, and ganging from the gutter at the second floor with no decent access. Ground still has almost 2 feet of snow cover, so a ladder didn't seem like a smart idea. What came next was my wife telling me that what I had planned is what could get me first place in the Darwin Awards. I pulled out my .22 rifle and started shooting at the ice on the gutter from the ground. Since I would like to think that I have at least 2 functional brain cells, I was firing at a steep angle up, but not from directly under what I was shooting at. I knocked a few icicles loose and had no injuries. Maybe next year, I'll try again, but with 9mm or .40

I'm on 10 acres a little north of Spokane. Came from 3.28 acres in Lake Stevens before that. Just know that if the house is worth less than the land, the purchase is considered a land purchase, not home, and requires something like 50% down. Mortgage loans also tend to gave higher interest rates for those as well. We were looking at 15 acres or more, but 10 is usually right about the max of where we could still get by buying the house with land instead of land with a house.

Thanks. I spoke with my insurance agent, and he said "file a claim! It's comp, so it won't hurt your rates". If it gets approved, I should net out around $850. Already talked with my light connection guy, so some upgraded LEDs might be in my future soon. VisionX 90w and 50w light cannons......

Welcome! Im not to far from you! Im in Port Orchard. Tahyua is the closest "off road park" to use and is like 45 minutes from you. Its a jeep area and is maintained so its not bad for stock trucks.
