I forget where, I think it's somewhere in Idaho ... They get enough sheds to build an arch out of them each year as an entrance to their park

I did this a couple of years ago on mine. Also did frame reinforcement plates at the same time. It definitely changes the way shocks behave. Mine are laid back and angled in a few degrees

    DIRT BIKE GUYS!

As you guys know, my other truck deal fell thru so lately I've been trying to get a dirtbike for the woods and that I can make street legal.

Right now I have a line on a couple different bikes so I'd like a few more opinions thrown at me... I'm still unsure on 2t or 4t since it will be my first bike. I would prefer a Swedish bike, BUT I'm not against japanese bikes.

2007 Yamaha Wr250f. $3000. 4 Stroke. New shocks, e start, skid plates, probably due for valves. Definitely been ridden.

2004 KTM EXC 250. $3000. 2 Stroke. Exhaust and skids and other misc extras. Not as scared of buying an older 2 stroke, because rebuilding it is far easier and cheaper. Looks nice!

2009 KTM XCF 250. $4000. 4 Stroke. One owner. 10 hours! E start, exhaust, and skid plate. It's his wife's bike. this seems like the best deal right here... What do you guys think? Maybe wait a little bit till more come for sale in the spring?

Out of those choices the XC-F would be the best deal for sure. KTM is Austrian. Kronreif, Trunkenpolz, Mattighofen. First two are the names of the dudes who started the company, last is the town in Austria where they are made, although some people say it stands for Keep Throwing Money or Kick The Mother. :D

If it were me, and I had to have a 250, I would at least get the W model with the wide ratio trans (faster top end). There are some interesting two strokes for sale that would be fun hoon bikes for sure- http://boise.craigslist.org/mcy/5422284881.html

Hmm cool! That's what I was thinking. I guess I knew they were Autrian... for some reason I thought Swedish... maybe I'm thinking of Husqy.

    KTM bought Husaberg.
    Rebranded KTM's sold as Husabergs.

    KTM bought Husqvarna
    Rebranded Husabergs sold as Husqvarnas.

In 2015 Husaberg goes away and rebranded KTM's will be sold as Husqvarnas. KTM uses Husaberg to "test" new technology. Sometimes it's a hit, sometimes it's a flop.

If I were you, living where you live, I would finance a new Christini AWD dual sport. You would be king of the mountains. http://www.christini.com/bikes/christini-awd-450-ds
Beta also has some interesting offerings if you like weird bikes- http://www.betausa.com/

Lol that thing is crazy looking. And yeah I know that KTM owns Husqvarna now. I was at the dealer and they have KTM specification stickers on the frame.

If I go new and finance, this is it. I will have the dealer put a DOT kit on it. http://www.ktm.com/us/enduro/350-xcf-w/

That would be a bike that's easy to learn on, could be ridden on the highway, and you could grow into it so to speak. 10 years from now you would still enjoy riding it. At the end of the summer you would be wanting more power with a 250... at least if you're anything like me.

    Exactly.

Eh, I don't think so. That 350 provides more than enough power but keeps the weight of a 250. I'm a small guy (160 pounds, 5"11) and a novice rider.

Well, it took FOREVER, but my insurance company finally issued me a check for my stolen lights. I'm picking up my new lights tomorrow, and I hope to get the install done over the weekend. Although the security nuts are not quite ready yet, but I am parking in my garage now.

Going with VisionX Light Cannons now, I'll post pictures once I'm done installing them...... 28,000 combined lumens. Going to be pretty sweet! :D

I'll have one VisionX 8500 8.7" HID (euro flood pattern, 35W) available for sale, just need to figure out if I have an extra wiring harness laying around for it (or take one off the truck.) Normally about $400/each new. Any takers at $200? Includes protective lens cover.
