    @dakotasyota , I have been told that street conversions don't always prove the easiest or end up achieving what the person had in mind. That's just the impression I've gotten from reading. If that $3k is your price point I think your top options would be a DRZ, KLX, or KLR. I think vstroms are also in the range but not a match.
