Did you find a place or end up getting your own set up?

That's probably the only option I haven't tried. If an atv shop doesn't have the equipment for it, I doubt they will too though.

Like you, I could not find a place locally to do it. So I sent them off to a friend who did the rebuild and also has a nitro recharge kit.

 

This whole kid thing is putting a huge cramp in my truck mod style.

I tried to convince the woman that all modifications would later benefit our child seeing as the Tacoma may very well be his/her first vehicle. Bottom line, she loves me but doesn't buy into my shit

You have at least 6 months to go.... Splurge a little. Something important, make it count.

 

Ya you know what I've been thinking of? Build 3-4 sets of sliders so I can have more $$$....

 

Start with that rack.... If you can sell it, you can sell sliders.

 

Thought about building an extra, it's more of a niche market than sliders

 

I went to duvall last weekend to sell some wheels off my old civic, while I was waiting in the parking lot I had 3 people come up and ask me about my tent. I need a rack....

What kind of rack? I've got a CVT Mt Shasta. Right now I'm using a Yakima bed bar system and it gets me by, but it's kinda pathetic.

Well after being off the truck for close to 4 years i finally got my Beefed Taco sliders welded back on the truck this weekend. Good to have them back on driving down town pdx every day. Seems weekly somebody puts a mark on bumpers and stuff...

 

Does it mount into the factory track system? My RTT bars are 35" spread the way I have it mounted. I'll take it.

Metaltech 4x4 can fill them they did mine a few months ago. There is also a motorsport place off Cornell near the airport that can fill them.

 

I was at a restaurant the other night and my gf and I just happened to get a table with a view of my truck in the parking lot. We got our drinks and while we waited for our food, I happened to glance out and watch a guy pull in next to my truck. He quickly threw his door open then proceeded to throw his arms up, yell something and slam the door shut. Yup, he opened his door right into my sliders. We walked out shortly after and I looked at my truck then his door. Nice dimple on his car and just a graze on the slider.
