you could try an exhaust shop, might not charge you as much, and same quality of work. I'd do it, but my tank is empty, and I don't think you want your rock sliders welded with .030" innershield.

I sent them a message and they quoted me $250 for the job. Seems a little steep to me, so the search continues. If nothing else pans out, I might give them a shot.

they quoted me same. 250 and say it takes 4 hours. That is almost as much as I paid for the sliders..

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
What is LRA? Is this for the front E-Locker?

Long Range Automotive. It's a 34 gallon gas tank that goes in place of the stock unit.

I agree that seems a bit steep, I will say though anytime I have work done by Crawl2Run they take their time and measure everything multiple times, it is always done very well. Welds are top notch and I trust them with my truck.

Their quality looks great. Like mentioned above, I have a hard time spending almost as much on the install as the actual rails.

Eh, see my Build Thread sig link. Too many mods to list.
Oh geez. I hadn't contacted them yet since sliders aren't in progress yet.

Ok, give this guy a call and see what he quotes you.

    Curtis Custom Welding - (503) 760-6971

I fucked up the hitch on my boat trailer backing it in...as in to the point it couldn't be towed anywhere. I called this guy at random from a Google search. He came out with his truck. He and his assistant cut the welds, let me prime the bare steel, then welded on a new hitch and was off like a rocket. One thing I dislike is service guys that don't treat your time as important. It was a bit spendy, but I didn't have much recourse. It was worth it because I was going camping the next day and he was here right when he said he was going to be. Apparently this happens all the time and he does 4-5 of them a week. Expensive lesson learned.

Isn't there a better alternative with the F150 tank?
It mounts between the frame rails behind the rear axle.

Not sure what year but it has to be better than the taco lean...

Wasn't there a company out of Bend that was making these tanks?

I bet VMI off road in bellingham would make you a tank. My dad checked into them for his super duty and they would.

This will be my first. Most of the bow tags are pretty easy to draw.
