My unit says it has an SWR meter built in, I thought I had that part under control. I was told my ground is bad. I guess its out of my knowledge to understand

Trade anyone? Low miles with only 37,000

Hopefully the little guy will get his height from his moms side and be able to fit in the back of the AC

So run a new, and dedicated wire for the ground. There are plenty of metal components you can bond it to, even in cab. Look for multiple wires that are white, or white with black stripe all coming together under the dash, especially below the steering wheel. That should lead to a nice ground spot. You could also look into purchasing a ground strap that is designed to drag on the ground the truck to the earth, but I wouldn't go that far myself. Those are more for static.

Finally found a BS thread with some locals! It always seems like all the cool meet ups are everywhere but oregon. Anyone near Eugene/Springfield?

From what I've seen of car seats, it's a DC or nothing. You may as well be trying to find space for a chair from the last Apollo rocket
I really need to get a picture up so you can see what I'm talking about. I don't think can buff out a scratch the shape of your index finger.
Could you be more specific what part of the world you are looking to do this?

So that $300 China quad I picked up a few weeks ago...just sold it for $1400. My best flip so far by a wide margin.
