Ain't gonna lie. It's spendy. However, it's going to be some of the best training you can get. I took an intro course as the very first thing I ever did on a motorcycle, and it made me ahead of a lot of people when it came to getting the on-road license a few months later. The intro course was only a day, so this is going to be a LOT more material.

Did you reinforce the rear section of the frame (plates and box)?
Trail gear comes to mind.

 

Nahh we just ratched' it down. Only weighs 800#s. Gonna do it right and get Billstein shocks, happijack, etc. probably. Drove 300 mi today with wind, no prob, but for the longterm, any ideas on how reduce sliding? Will happij fix that? Maybe heavy duty grip tape?

 

Yeah...I'm thinking an intro course would be a much better idea to start.

I don't think He's 32... but yeah. Long fall. Guess he wasn't using proper hiking equipment.

Thanks for checking in!! Ya our whole party made it out ok. So crazy that climber passed this weekend, that was literally the same day within a few hours time frame from when we were on the hogs back. I slipped out on my heel edge the first turn down and slid for quite a ways and had my own scare, but nothing bad. Tragic for that other guy though!

is the oil pan bolt/washer something specific? i have a small leak coming from there and i think its just due to it being old/i over tightend it. does anyone know what size i need for that or if i should just get a new set from toyota?
