Looking for Some help. Anyone see any good deals on a commuter car, or selling one? Looking to spend less the $1000 cash college life is starting so I’m on a budget. I have about a 80 commute each day. Does not have to be pretty just strong running. 5 speed civic, Miata, you get the idea.

So... idk how many of you have dealt with this vendor, but I'd suggest not purchasing anything from sierra expeditions.

After back and forth emails about them having my money and me having no product, I finally had to open a paypal dispute on them. Maybe it's just my situation, but there customer service is shit....

I haven't had issues with them, but I've only ordered trasharoos from them.

Word to the wise, use a credit card next time. Credit card companies get results and work for you, PayPal assumes that they need some sort of cut or that you were dumb.

True.... hopefully the dispute I opened makes SX refund me. The issue is with them, not with paypal.

Still dealing with my SX issue.... they won't even respond to the messages through PayPal.

I definitely urge people to not do business with them.

Sounds like you'll have a full refund. I ordered a new rifle stock, didn't get a response from the seller about shipping so I started a dispute. They never responded to PayPal's inquiry so PayPal judged in my favor for a full refund. Then about just over 2 months after initial purchase they decided to ship it to me after I had been refunded. Then they wanted it back. I said provide me with a prepaid shipping label and it will be on it's way. That was a month ago, still no prepaid shipping label, so they must not want it back that bad.

I know I'll get a refund. I'm just more upset that a vendor here is doing me like this. Anything I buy I try to do the TW thing and purchase from a vendor.

Once it's all over tho, I'm going to leave them a nice review thread on there vendor page; as well as send my emails to the all mighty BOB for a review. Just really disappointed...

I assume my tone in my 2 or 3rd email didn't sit well with the, so they just washed there hands? Idk... In the end I'll get my money and purchase through someone else.

That happened to me with Palmetto state. They sent me 1000 rounds of 5.56 after i canceled my order and then wanted it back. They never sent me a label and ill be damned if im going to pay $40 to ship back free ammo.

Did they refund your original purchase, then recharge you?

Nope. And they sent me an email that was an embarrassed "hey we accidentally sent this to you can you send it back?" and I said id be happy to if they sent me a label and they never did. Came with a 60 round magpul drum too. I felt kinda bad and actually priced how much it would cost to mail it back but $40 was just too much for me to eat for their mistake.

Hi im from MN but my girl wants to Go to portland this summer. So she is planning on taking the taco. I would love it if i can go from the sw corner of oregon to portland without hitting pavement. Wondering if its possible and if so any links to forestry trails would be appreciated. Been to lake paulina plenty of times.

It's more geared towards ADV Riders, but you can probably search and see how much/far you could traverse the different routes in a truck:
    http://www.oohva.org/
    http://ridebdr.com/ORBDR

Guy asking about running it in a full size truck: http://forum.omraoffroad.com/viewtopic.php?t=15820

None of the routes lead to Portland though, so you'd have quite a bit of pavement pounding no matter what....
